A Little About Me
I am a PhD Candidate at the University of Washington-Seattle. As an undergraduate I performed galactic and extragalactic research at universities, observatories, and institutions. I am currently working with Dr. Jessica Werk to investigate gas that surrounds galaxies called the circumgalactic medium to further our understanding this reservoir's ionization state and dynamics to gain insight on its role in galaxy evolution. At UW, I am the Social Media and Trivia guru for Astronomy on Tap Seattle and I am heavily involved in other public outreach and science communication events (e.g. giving planetarium shows and volunteering for eSTEAM). When I am not doing astronomy or homework, I enjoy playing volleyball, crafts, and traveling.
